Flippa Moggela drops visuals for ‘Oh Please’, tops iTunes Chart

Dancehall artist Flippa Moggela has claimed the number 1 spot on the iTunes Reggae Music Videos Chart with his latest release ‘Oh Please’. The video has surged ahead of industry heavyweights like Shenseea, Vybz Kartel and Bob Marley, marking a major milestone for Flippa as he continues his powerful return to the scene. Following the release at midnight on Friday, ‘Oh Please’ debuted at number 5 by midday. By Sunday afternoon, it skyrocketed to the top and stayed there well into Tuesday.

Directed by JJ of Star Imag3 Films in Philadelphia, the official music video for ‘Oh Please’ was made available on YouTube and iTunes at midnight on Friday, May 23. Amassing a whopping 94,000 views in a matter of hours on YouTube alone, these visuals showcase Flippa’s lavish lifestyle and depict himself as uncaring of what other people’s opinions of him are.

Born Andrew Davis and known globally as the Flossing KingFlippa expressed his anticipation and enthusiasm towards ‘Oh Please’, the release of the music video and being grateful for topping the charts.

I’m extremely proud of how the video turned out. I gave a young female director a chance and she delivered. It’s obvious the fans like the video as much as they’ve enjoyed the track itself for it to debut so high on the charts. Thank you for the support,” Flippa said.

The track itself is doing well and providing some much needed spotlight on Flippa Moggela. ‘Oh Please’, produced by TJ Records, has been receiving heavy rotations on radio stations across several states and the visuals are complementing it perfectly. Released on the Street Vybz Riddim, the video is already creating waves online and setting the tone for his upcoming appearances, including the highly anticipated Evolution event on June 29, 2025.

Understanding Aboulomania: When Indecisiveness Becomes Debilitating

Aboulomania is a rare and lesser-known mental disorder characterized by pathological indecisiveness, where individuals struggle with making even the simplest decisions in their daily lives. Unlike typical indecision that we all experience from time to time, aboulomania involves extreme and often paralyzing difficulty in making choices — ranging from what to eat to life-changing decisions — severely impacting a person’s ability to function.

Although aboulomania is not officially listed in the DSM-5-TR, it is often seen alongside other psychological conditions such as anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and depression. It is closely associated with neurotic thinking — a tendency to overthink, overanalyze, and anticipate negative outcomes, which can leave the individual feeling stuck in a constant loop of hesitation and doubt.

A key feature of aboulomania is severe indecisiveness. Sufferers may ask others for constant reassurance, avoid decisions entirely, or become so overwhelmed by the fear of making the wrong choice that they feel mentally and emotionally frozen. This chronic uncertainty can lead to social withdrawal, frustration, and low self-esteem.

The roots of aboulomania often trace back to earlier anxiety or trauma. For some, growing up in overly controlling or critical environments may contribute to a deep fear of failure or disapproval, which in turn fuels their indecision.

While not widely diagnosed, raising awareness of aboulomania is important. Therapy — particularly cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) — can help individuals reframe their thinking, build confidence in decision-making, and reduce the anxiety that feeds the cycle of indecisiveness. Recognizing that indecision can sometimes be more than just a habit is a vital step toward healing and support.

  • Michelle’s Foundation giving back to Guyana

Guyana-born American philanthropist Dr Michelle Gill is giving back to children in her hometown of Georgetown, Guyana this summer through her charity organization Michelle’s Foundation. The New Jersey-based social worker and college professor is also the owner and operator of a radio station, Get With The Fix Radio, that’s syndicated across several states and digitally streamed.

For the past 14 years, Michelle has hosted an annual back to school drive in the neighborhood of Orange, New Jersey. She has also done some charity work on 3 occasions in Jamaica. This will be the second time she’ll be including Guyana on July 2nd. Michelle will be doing a presentation to her alma mater, which she has now completely adopted, the St Gabriel’s Primary School in Georgetown, Guyana.

The graduating class will receive 132 school bags to take for their first year of high school, with the top 10 performing students receiving tablets. 360 Vinyl Printing has also committed to donating additional tablets to some of the children in need. The teachers will be surprised by a token of appreciation sponsored by local business, Secure Innovations and Concepts. Two special little girls who stopped the bullying of another child will receive a special gift as well.

“Giving back to the children of Guyana and seeing their reaction to just me being there is always heartwarming. Donating to a worthy cause is gratifying and to see it up close is the best feeling ever. I hope by doing this, it motivates others to do the same for these children back home,” said Michelle.

Michelle’s Foundation was a major sponsor for the recently concluded A’Legends School Tour in Jamaica, donating 12 tablets to several students from different schools. The 14th Annual Michelle’s Foundation Back To School Drive in New Jersey will be held on August 30, 2025.
