MEET ZIMBABWE AFRO-FUSION MUSICIAN CHIDO MACHANZI

Chido Machanzi is a afro-fusion recording and performing artist, whose melodies have continued to serenade the Zimbabwean people and she is set to take over the scene, beyond Zimbabwe. We have the great opportunity for a brief interview with the amazing songstress below;

 1. Hello, how would you like to introduce yourself?

1. My name is Chido Machanzi I'm an Afro fusion musician Based in Zimbabwe  born in 1997 18 April.

2. When did you discover your passion for music?

2. I discovered my music when I was in college at the national gallery of Zimbabwe  where by I used to perform at school in function 

3. Tell us about any artists that you looked up to when growing up?

3.i looked up to Brenda fassie , Beyoncé , chiwoneso maraire ,Tina turner and Whitney houston

4. What genre of music do you do?

4.afro fusion

5. What inspires your creative process?

5. I am in inspired by the things happening in the surroundings and things that I face as an individual 

6. How was your experience recording your first song?

6. my experience when I first recorded was different it changed me because I think it was a surprise to me especially The respond from people on my first song it was overwhelming and it made me grew fast I was still young and everything changed you know being a public figure at a younger age

 

7. What project are you working on currently? 

7. I'm currently working on my first international collaboration with Beckie Johnz

8. What's your most recent release and how has the reception been?

8. my recent release single is Vhima produced by leekay

9. What challenges have you faced in your career as an artist?

9 well as an artist I have lot of things that I wanna do so challenges .money is the first thing, but the more I work hard things becomes better .so working hard pays
