YOUNG KENYAN FILM MAKER CYNTHIA JOHNSON IS PUSHING THE LIMITS & HOPES TO MAKE IMPACTFUL FILMS FOR AFRICA

 Every generation has its own light bearers or beacons in the arts and creative sector. In Kenya's rapidly growing film industry , young talent Cynthia John stands out as the pace maker in the field.

Cynthia Johnson is a student at Multimedia university of Kenya. She is currently pursuing Mass communication in her second year. Apart from that she is a content creator, an actress, director and script writer.She has formed a production called SKYARTS PRODUCTION and is currently working with a small group of individuals who have the same passion.

 She started acting in primary school and producing content in high school. She officially started acting on camera in 2020 and has also participated in different competitions such as Kalasha awards.

 

Cynthia has featured in one movie called MY SELFISH GIRLFRIEND taking the lead role. The movie was produced and scripted by her. She has also taken part in other films as an assistant behind the cameras an example is "TOO MUCH TOO SOON." where she played the role of a director.

 

She is self-motivated, passionate individual with extensive experience in range of services especially in content creation. She is solution focused, proactive and always committed to progressive learning. She has always sought to achieve excellence in any task given through diligence, respect, self-disciplined and adherence to protocols with the core objective of achieving quality and adding value.

She has in the past been responsible for various roles where she has been involved in providing excellent services in all her roles. Working as a film director, producer, actress and a script writer, she maintained a safe, secure and healthy environment for films to thrive. She is thus familiar with working in a fast-paced and intense environment which has equipped her with better organisational, communication and problem solving skills.

 

Being a good communicator, she is well experienced in the field  which has been key for the success in all her  previous roles. Her enthusiasm for work is boundless and she will add value to the role by bringing a quality-focused, disciplined, professional, adaptable and dependable background she has developed due to my good work ethics and conduct. As a highly motivated individual, she is dedicated to partnering and collaborate with a team that shares the same passion for growth and success.
