It's sad that we all had to grow up as youths only to end up as the children our parents always warned us about
From being scared of dark rooms to finding comfort in the same dark rooms
From telling our parents about everything that always bothered us to hiding everything that we do without them knowing all because we know how they're going to react.
Not that we are trying to be rebellious but because that's what we became and we had nothing to do since everyone got exposed to different types of traumatic experiences from childhood and especially in our modern day society
We choose who we wanna be but we are not safe in such environments where we're all messed up and differentiated based on who we are.
Sometimes things happen for a reason, maybe a lesson or for experience gain but that doesn't mean that we should be disregarded for what we're made of
Most of our parents wouldn't understand because we're so different from them and it's a critical time of revolution with everything going on currently; suicides, addictions, mental disorders, mistrusts, envy, sexual violations and negative peer influence where it's time to take your position and that will define what you want to be
It's a time to speak up and rise up for ourselves, together.
Time to reunite and stand out as the different generation of change and whatever changes we make will define how the coming generations will run
It's time to prioritize wisdom, strength, wellness and good health; mentally, spiritually, physically and emotionally
It's time to hope for the best, not to lose hope nor give up
It's the time to become the change we wanna see
Time to embrace our differences, time to cut off some barbaric traditions, time to become a voice to be heard, time to wake up and say NO to everything that's not making life comfortable!
It's time to be free and fly out of the cages set in place by societal expectations and norms!
It's time for advancement and positive progression
It's time to choose ourselves and avoid wasting our potential only because we have to maintain the perfect image when behind the shadows we just thirsting for some light when we can become the lights!
Why should you fake being the sheep when you know that deep down you are a wolf?
Everyday is a day to celebrate and enjoy our freedom and voice. But if it's worth the time, why waste it?
