At just 23 years old, Sharon Kemuma has already carved out a path that many only dream of. Crowned Miss Tourism Nyeri County 2025, Sharon is more than just a beauty queen — she is a passionate ambassador for culture, conservation, and community development.

Originally from Nyamira County, Sharon’s journey took a pivotal turn when she moved to Nyeri to pursue her education at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology. What began as an academic pursuit quickly blossomed into a deeper connection; Nyeri became her second home, offering both opportunity and inspiration. Her academic journey culminated in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, which she completed in December 2024. She now awaits her nursing internship with hope and purpose, ready to serve and promote primary healthcare at the grassroots level.
A proud alumna of Moi Girls High School, Eldoret, Sharon’s journey is marked by excellence and ambition. She previously earned the title of 1st Runners-Up Miss Dedan Kimathi 2023/2024 and is also the current Face of Bonk — further testament to her grace, influence, and leadership.
But there’s more to Sharon than the crown. She is also a customer service specialist with over two years of professional experience, an entrepreneur, and a dedicated cash crop farmer. Through her brand, Scents and Smiles Kenya, she promotes eco-friendly wellness products — from handmade soaps and scented candles to personalized merchandise — all rooted in sustainability and local empowerment.
When she’s not donning a sash or tending to her business, Sharon enjoys being in motion. A recreational runner, she finds joy in hiking, travelling, and exploring the rich landscapes Kenya has to offer.
As Miss Tourism Nyeri, Sharon envisions a platform that goes beyond pageantry. Her mission is clear: to showcase Nyeri County’s breathtaking natural beauty, empower youth and women, promote community health, and champion sustainable tourism deeply grounded in cultural heritage and environmental stewardship.
