People have shift their businesses to other towns since the COVID Pandemic

The covid 19 global pandemic is said to be making a comeback with number of cases surging again. This has many people worried about going back to the same conditions of restrictions in 2020 where many were not able to fend for their families, others losing their jobs and many shutting down their businesses. Many small and medium business operators were unable to keep up with Paying rent and bills and therefore, forced to pursue other survival options such as shifting the line of businesses or relocating to cheaper business premises.



The pandemic drove millions of people to Loosing employment and going back to a cycle of dependency that most are slowly now recovering from as the world is crawling back to normalcy that is now under threat of the said sub-variants.

The next move for many businessmen and employed folk was Looking for alternatives to enable them survive and make the best out of the difficult circumstance where government seemed also overwhelmed especially on the African continent and not able to offer adequate assistance to their citizenry in Africa unlike in the USA where a stimulus package was issued to alleviate the suffering of the U.S citizens.



With the rural urban migration trend of many Kenyan youth moving to Growing towns in pursuit of better opportunities business and employment wise, the Covid pandemic brought about a slower migration trend which also adversely affected the economy in different towns across the country.
