Ingredients:

1 liter of whole milk (or any milk of choice)

2 tablespoons of plain yogurt with live cultures (as a starter)

1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar or honey (optional)

1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
Steps:

Heat the milk – Pour the milk into a pot and heat it gently until it reaches about 85°C (185°F). Stir often to avoid burning.

Cool the milk – Let the milk cool down to about 45°C (113°F).

Add the starter – Mix in the plain yogurt and whisk well to combine.

Add flavor – Stir in vanilla extract and sweetener if desired.

Incubate – Pour the mixture into a container, cover, and keep in a warm place for 6–10 hours until thickened.
